I have a Silver 2005 WRX (not STI) that I bought new when I was living in California, drove it to Maine in 2008 and it's been my primary ever since. It recently acquired a black carbon fiber hood scoop after the OEM one came loose and blew off on 295 last year.
While just now joining the forum, I have known about it for a long time - someone left a flyer once under my wiper on the Fore St. Garage in Portland, maybe 10 years ago. Joining the forum now because my 10 year old and I are starting to explore some of the major repair work it needs, especially rust, and am looking for advice, sources of parts, "allies", etc. We replaced the front sub frame last fall with help from friends, now tackling the rear bumper and rust in the wheel wells.
