my paperwork says it takes about 2 1/2 hours. Obviously SoA has no idea... I've had mine apart and it's a pain. 4 hours at least I would think. Maybe a little less but not 2 1/2.
I argued with SoA for quite some time over the phone about this a while back. They claimed it wasn't an issue only an annoyance. I asked how a fuel leak onto the engine isn't a safety issue!?!? They countered with "fuel lines are a 'wear' item." I told them that fuel lines are NOT the same thing as brakes and will not wear out due to fuel going through them. Then I brought it back to "fuel leaking onto the engine is a f'n safety issue and if my car catches fire, they will damn well be sued." They said it's not their fault. I reminded them that they have a service bulletin (which it was only a bulletin at the time) that specifically states that it is their fault, that it was a design and manufacturing issue that had to be corrected on subsequent models. Then they tried to act like I shouldn't have access to service bulletins and on and on.. what a mess. in the end, look who put a recall out! HAHAHA
