:lol:No it's a good question, but no it's sitting on a completely flat spot in her driveway. I have had one of these stick in park before, but was able to get my keys out, and it would start. That was the neutral position switch, just not sure about this onedumb as it sounds.... is she on a hill on weird spot? Maybe the sterering column locking mechanism is jousting with her...
BAH... I dunno.. I just drive the thing and then beg guys like U for help after I melt something..
The switch will be under the trim somewhere next to the shifter rightcheck the switch that's at the shifter that is pushed when you put it in park.cause if its not pushed it doesn't know its in park so it won't start and t won't allow the key to turn fully back to removed the key cause it also doesn't know that it is in park
She lives in Newcastle, Cow **** corner actually:lol:Theres been a bunch lately with the shifter cable out of adjustment. The shifter is physcally in park but not electrically. Look for the "P" on the dash. If the "P" is not illuminated then the computer thinks its not in park yet and wont allow the car to start, it thinks its still in reverse or drive. To remedy this just pop the shifter forward/up in the park gate and the "P" usually lights on the dash, then it will start.
also listen for the brake switch to activate the solenoid under the shifter. It should click as you push the brake pedal. Once I have seen the lock out solenoid slide just enough so it didn't allow shifting. <---the thingy subarude is talkin about
