I've only lived in Maine for 3 years, but it seems to me Mainers will never be happy. They complain constantly about everything that is wrong with the state, do nothing to change it, and then attack anyone "from away" who dares to suggest a new idea or present a new way of looking at things. This is far and away the most depressing place I have ever lived and it has nothing to do with the economy.

I partially agree with the comment. Things are slowly looking up along I95, but north of rockland on Rt.1 its still same old. The amount on ignorance is in direct relation to the mile marker on Rt.1
