2.5 head gasket

Does anyone here have any experience changing the head gaskets on the 2.5L? I am considering doing it myself and could use any advice. Thanks in advance.

I checked the first 5 pages for a DIY headgasket thread and didn't see it. But I was looking quick.

Depends greatly if it's sohc or dohc. Sohc is much easyer. My record for a sohc double gasket is 5hrs

This is very true. SOHC can be done in the car once you get good enough squeezing your hands between the frame rails and the head.

My record for turbo DOHC head replacement (both) is 8 hours, probably would be a bit less for n/a dohc.
