2002 Saab Modifications

I am looking to replace my springs on my 02 saab in order to lower it about one inch or 1/2 inch. Does anyone know if STI springs would do the trick or would that be way to much work? There are many other modifications I have done and are still looking to do so if I could get some ideas that would be great.

I like the idea of a black emblem with the rally pig or just a black emblem, but i'm not sure where to find those.

c. (cheapest and lowest drops, be aware of ebay though) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Megan-Red-Lowering-Springs-Saab-9-3-93-04-05-06-07-08_W0QQitemZ230382637925QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item35a3e01365

Looks to me like springs are a lot different then STI ones.

The emblem is custom made one from a guy on NASIOC(the big subaru website).

Hope this helps

Wow a big help:spinmastert: but how do I contact that guy about the emblem?

thanks man. i can always count on you for advice. and keep the ideas coming. peelin out for 200 meters isn't good enough for me. im lookin to put a turbo regulator in it some day down the road.

oh heck yeah. I learned how to pop the clutch from 1st to 2nd while keeping the tires rotating but after that I try third but it just can't happen. I love my car, sometimes I peel out on accident because of the pick up it has. Of course, the turbo helps a little bit.

Careful on that 5 speed, ask Seph Saab 5speeds go boom!

as in the clutch goes? ah shoot, cause recently the clutch has been sticking half way between the floor and all the way up. but that only has happened three times and it happens after it has been sitting for 8 or more hours. any ideas on what It could be:iam: I think it might be the slave but it could be more serious.

There are so many subaru's in vermont like you wouldn't believe!!

No the whole thing goes boom.

Vermont is like the Subaru capitol of the U.S.

So then is the clutch sticking a problem do you think? I sure hope not.. i mean yeah i've ridden it hard but how much damage can that really do?

And they all buy them at St. J Subaru. I've been there a couple times when I lived up in Newport, good crew up there:)

I'll have to keep those tips in mind, thanks guys.

Ill use those tips to hopefully save me some money down the road. My dad would be so mad because the same thing happened to my brother's 1998 jetta. He was ripped:lol:
