2007 WRX injector question

How long should it take to swap fuel injectors on a 2007 WRX? MMM is telling me that after 2.5 hours, their tech is STILL working on it. At least they're paying for a rental, else I'd be out of a car for the night.

 
If it makes you feel any better, they quoted me like $200+ to change my spark plugs becuase the labor would take about that long since "Apparently" you have to remove an engine mount and shift the engine to one side to reach the spark plugs. :

Sigh...

Chris & Brad are good guys, but I lost faith in them more and more as my warranty came closer and closer to an end.

I should reiterate, I didn't lose faith in THEM, they are good guys, but they're mechanics... wtf.

 
Actually, they're being pretty cool. I was hot when I posted earlier, but I've calmed down a bunch.

They're swapping the injectors from cylinders 1 and 3 to see if my CEL comes back in the next week or so. If so, we know that the injector is bad. If not, then there are deeper issues in the cylinder (I'm told).

Patriot, they aren't hacks like MMM. inski works there ask for him.

I have seen/dealt with MMM's BS attitude and shitty service more than once and from more than just the subaru branch.

 
yeah i know one girl that brought her chevy there to fix the power window. when she came to pick it up the airbag and batt. light were both lit. when she pointed that out they 'looked at it' and said they wanted $500 to fix it. after she freaked out on them they 'fixed it' almost instantly (while she waited) for free. weird huh?
