x2. Same money as a decent amp and 10"I got one I'm my 2005, I don't think its worth it. It does help the bass a little bit, but if I was you, I would just get a real sub.
Hmm not bad but maybe, depending on the depth of the box, I would cram this in. http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/swr-t10/ I know its $500 bucks but you get what you pay for.I saw in the accessories book that Subaru is releasing the Kicker sub for the Impreza. They have two versions for both hatch and sedan. Just an idea since it would be plug-n-play. Not sure on cost. Here's the brochure.
Just dont start doing what I did. My subaru never came with a radio so I did little by little until it was way overkill. Case in point, I am one speaker away to having full surround sound in my car. Never need to watch movies in the house ever again. lol But back to the factory sub. The one that subaru offers right now new is way overpriced and not good of quality that you can get out of aftermarket. Unless you want perfect sound its not the best route. If you just want a little base try to find a used one or better yet find two and run them under each seat. Its been done, and its actually not a bad idea. Then again it all comes down to finding the subs cheep.I have a r sub ,that is nice tho, guess ill just put it in c how it sounds
kenwood is the POOP! its the only head unit i would suggest for someone who likes sound qualityi have a kenwood head unit and the subaru door tweeters, other than that stock, and sounds beautiful
