21 years yesterday

Yesterday the wife and i had our 21 wedding aniversary....Last few years we have marked the occasion by going mineing.Came home with a 5 gallon bucket of debri and spent the afternoon washing and sorting the little colored gems....Lots of greens black,dark blue,red....Last year we climbed the harvard mine ,this year we found mt mica,very cool people,geoligist on site.We would highly recomend the experience for all.Nice road trip also. :headbang:

21 years is something to be proud of. today it seems some people have shoes that last longer than their marriges.

wife and i are coming up on 12. think we beat the odds and will be in it for the long run.

What do you do with the gems you find?

We haven't found anything really big enough to sell[YET]so we just sort by color and save the ones we like..And throw the debri into the stone wall...we collect it more for the art sake rather then the money.It is a fun hobby that is healthy and maybe profitable.Where we were yesterday, a lady the day before found a chrystal with a value of over 1000 dollars.We only found a few carots of tourmiline in various colors..and had fun all day doing it . :laughing4:
