3.0 Liter

We all know the 2.5 liter can go 300,000 + mile but does anyone know how long the 3.0 liter can go? I have 196K on my 01 VDC.

From what I've read, they tend to outlive the car and/or the automatic transmission.

They go a long time. I read about somebody with 500,000 miles on one with a manual transmission. (some countries are lucky and get manuals with the H6)

In the US you could only get the 3.0 with auto no stick shift

My point though, is that there's one out there that's gone 500k and still ticking.

 
Why is this a sneaky thread? He started a thread to ask a specific question, and titled it accordingly. I see no sneakery there.
