im looking for a set of 6 1/2 inch speakers, hopefully looking for someone who has recently upgraded to something better, i just need to replace a couple speakers in my own car, my front speakers are basically shot and the rear ones are slowly getting worse.

my price range that im hoping to stay within is either cheap or free

i live in litchfield, but i also trek to south portland every weekday for work.

thank you

~Brian~

I think they still have 2 pair of Boss coaxials, still in the boxes over at the junkyard. They aren't the greatest things, but $15 bucks a pair for new speakers is a really good deal. Ill find out tomorrow, I drive by there every day, if they are there, and you want them, I can pick em up and bring them to you.... Were not too far away...   or worst case, I can pull mine out of the Legacy, and you can have them.

$15 a pair? sheez ill take two! and that sounds like a plan to me, like i had said, i dont get paid til friday so id have the money be then

Ok, I was just down there, I cant get on here at work... I can swing in tomorrow and make sure they're still there, Ill grab them if they are. Ive got to stop in and scan a computer in a POS minivan for them anyway....  I have a few cheap amps too, if you want to do a little power...

my outback didnt seem to have much of a problem running focal speakers on a walmart battery, so the battery in my imp should be sufficient.

Ive got a nice shiny new set of 6.5" coaxial speakers in my car now.   Cost me $15, will cost you $15, let me know if you want to get them tonight.  Im right down the road, also I meant that I had a few amplifiers... I think theres a Kenwood 50x4, and a couple bigger ones, right off the top of my head theres a Precision Power 500 watt, a Rockford Fosgate Power 800, with a matching Punch 90 for mids, Ive got some Rockford HX2 12s, a triple 10" JL Audio enclosure, Phoenix gold crossovers.... all kinds of old stereo goodies.  Been doing this stuff for about 24 years now... back when MTX was top of the line stuff....

tonight could work, i just honestly need a pair to replace in the front, so that way i wouldnt have to crank my stereo so loud on the highway and possibly ruin the good speaker i have left.

OK, Im home, but Ive had some beers- no driving for me.... if you want to come over and get them, its fine, or tomorrow afternoon would work too. I was only able to get the 1 pair, the others got sold. I had them stashed, just not good enough I guess. Im right next to the big cemetery on the Plains rd, probably 5 miles from you. PM me in the next few minutes if you're online with your number. Also, these are brand new in the box, box isn't the best, but youll be happy for $15!
