6 disc head unit issue

So when I wired up my boost gauge a few weeks back, I buckled everything back together and when I got done, my cd player didn't work. The radio would just not the changer. I thought maybe I didn't hook a wire back up, so no biggie. So today I finally got a chance to take it back apart. No unplugged wires?!?! And it still doesn't work. It's the factory 6 disc head unit. Any ideas?

My guess (just a guess mind you) is that the stereo can't get enough power to run the CD player. I recently noticed that if I'm changing CDs, the stereo won't turn off when starting the car like it usually does and the car won't start. Can you easily unplug the boost gauge?

That's really weird. Maybe a fuse broke or something when you were doing the install?

You poped it?

or you poped it? (Urban dictionary is usually NSFW, so don't go there).

take your pic of definitions, none of them can (or should) apply to fuses

Wee I would think that the whole unit is on one fuse. I popped a fuse when I istalled mine too, but it was when the head unit was completely out and I replaced the fuse.

So the fuse is good?

Maybe try swapping it with another of the same amperage just in case. I don't know what else it could be.

Yeah the fuse I blew was the one for the dash lights, and replaced it and everything thing came back on. The when I put the head unit back in, the cd function wouldn't work.
