I just had to ponder this.

I lived in a place called milo, and dover, and tonight is one of those evenings, where as you could leave bangor with the window down, the "cool warm" smell of a clean tropical fall, and by the lagrange exit heat on defrost keeping the windshield clean from ice...approx 25 miles due north... anyone making trips like this?

I have over a year and a half of it...extremely bizarre. Like a mt.washington ride.

I wonder how new subes do. It is trips like that, just in the first couple of months had me going for the simplest of runtimes. a carbed v8, or an old subaru...

It could do that all the way to april..at any time....30 degrees.. different...south wind 15mph, and 60 degrees. amazing. Take deep warm breaths while I can..

Yea those last few nice days before winter you always have to stop and enjoy. Today im hoping will be one of them.

I live in an area with some strange weather too.western maine on the south western side of pleasant mountain.Ive watched for years weather systems coming across counrty from new hampster, hitting the Mt washington area and splitting to the right and left of pleasnant mt....Fryeburg harbor[base of the mt washington valley] typicaly has both the warmest and coldest temps in maine. Its strange to watch the weather build and intenseify as it makes its way to the coast....bet the folks on the new hampster side get some interesting upsloping weather effects...

I live in Acton at an elevation around 680 ft. and my office is in Sanford, which is in a valley, only 13 miles south has made for rain in Sanford and snow in Acton many times.
