A good used driveshaft shouldn't be much. The shipping is the worst. The biggest issue with replacing them, is down time. Plus I would probably need to go to friends shop for tools anyway, which adds more time, and the rare occasion I get up there, we have other things that NEED to be done. So a good used replacement would be the best way to go.You can just replace the u-joints, it's a lot cheaper than buying a new drive shaft, and it's better than new because the joints are greasable.
I did this repair on my GL's shaft and it really wasn't that hard.
Unfortunately not. The center bearing mount is at a different height so it will bind up. Thank you though!Would one out of a 02 impreza wagon work? I have one
If it will
