And since the car had minimal rust on it just the rocker panels (go figure) we decided to bring it back to life.

I remember that thread. I guess after 12 years, I can tell real sube owners and those with a parts supply nobody knows about..

and for those that don't know. there is no such thing as a "little rust" when it comes to a rocker beam an an old subaru. it is the whole subaru, ready to fail.In fact, I have learned it be every single last frickin rare error I have ever had with an old sube, unless I made the error myself.

I broke a belly pan, rocker related. I have had two subes since, ea generation. Informative thread however, always nice to be reminded of others giving old sube info, regardless of market orientation and true knowledge.
