Almost had me a new 2007 Forester XT today...

Some lady thought she'd try to run the redlight on Broadway this morning in her big ole Oldsmobile Aurora.... The Forester almost bought the farm... I stopped about half way thru the intersection when I saw her coming at a rapid pace up to the light anticipating her lawlessness. She went into full lock-up...

 
I'm actually pretty glad... I just washed & waxed it last week... all that effort would have gone to waste.

I swear waxing and washing is a magnet for accidents. I spent 3hrs detailing my Honda, and next day bam, sides-wipped!

 
Being a few months from actually OWNING the car too is a magnet... I was 2 payment from owning my Jeep when I put it into a minivan thanks to black ice...

I should just leave the Forester at home... 3 pmts left, washed & waxed... EEch!!!

 
Also just purchasing a car and just getting body work done is a magnet. Seems I am just not meant to have a car that is "perfect".

 
after less than two months in my new-to-me Aero, some idiot in a Benz pulled out a driveway without looking and bashed into my passenger-side doors. No money out of my pocket, but total PITA.

I did just pick up a Malibu Classic rental. Mmmm....fleet car...

It is just an XT... with a different grill, taillights & bumper. We won't get the one displayed at SEMA. Plus it takes away the good stuff like the winter package, crossbars, etc.

Not too exciting. I guess i'll hang onto mine till 2009 for the redesign & maybe a Forester STi. I know that as soon as I compromise and get and XT, the STi will be released...

 
almost had me a new STI last week....................there was something about 1 minute away from my RS getting intimate with a blue STI.

ok, I don't how much your parents taught you about the birds and the bees, but you know our cars are not capable of reproduction together, right?
