Another black box haha (different location)

Could Anyone tell me what this black box is and what it does? Could it be relocated easily? ( radom question I know but im just wondering)

No reason why you couldn't move it. Just extend the hoses to where they need to be.

But why?

you may start throwing codes if you move it. the newer systems are super sensitive to pressure changes in the evap system.

thanks for the input guys. This may sound crazy but...I want to try the exhaust off an 06 spec B on my car and from what I can tell at the moment the charcoal canister is the only really major thing in the way. Im not saying all this will work or anything but im getting the exhaust for free and am willing to do a little work to try something new. I think it would be really unique to have my year legacy with the dual muffler design. Plus, worse case scenario I can sell what im getting.

cap off the right side ot the y pipe and run the single muffler
