Another new one

New member
Just joined up here on mainelysubarus. I live in portland and recently bought a 05' legacy gt. needed a new car, wanted something that would be fun to drive. now im hooked. I absolutely love driving this car. I never really thought about tuning, or modifying, or driving anything other than stock, until I bought this car. Now I want to make it even more of a blast to drive. Figured this forum would be a good place to start seeing as how im not entirely sure where to start. Any thoughts, tips, links, would be appreciated. thanks. -p-

 
Welcome from one noobie to another! I just joined a little bit ago myself. Have fun with the new ride... I know I'm enjoying mine as well! Where did you get your Legacy?

welcome, yes you're correct you will gets lots of modding advice here.......we MS peeps are very happy to help spend YOUR $$$ !

Start out with a plan tho...do you want a hotted up daily driver, or a Total Beast (aka Daily Tuner) ??

upgrade tires, suspension then driver control software, don't worry about adding more power til way down the line. make the most of what you've already got, then upgrade gradually.

was pretty deep in a funk after seeing mom at the hosp...but seeing another white RS did make me smile. thanks.

I work at Maine Boats & Harbors, organize the MB&H Boat Show in Rockland, and manage docks at the Pearl Restaurant. We are crazy crazy busy in spring and summer, heh welcome to the boat biz.
