Another oddball AWD for me! (And my wife...)

Picked this up for my wife. 1989 BMW 325iX... the X is the all important letter here. AWD!  Its automatic, but has a dump truck size straight 6 in there. Runs great, but was picked up with a chain to move it, and hurt the front bumper, and put a ding in the gas tank. It peed everywhere. , 

So, the plan is to clean it up a bit more, fix the tank, and it also needs a trip to S&M radiator, has a small crack in the top.  Goes down the road awesome for how long it sat.

One more pic: this project brought to you by Sam Adams!  The motor is huge in this thing! Two little turbos nestled in there would be kind of fun.....  this kind of took some of the $$$ needed for the Legacy, but I couldn't pass it up for the price.

Gas tank repaired.   Now on to the radiator. Plus I need to find some tan armrests for it. Not real sure why they're missing?  Rest of the interior is pretty nice.  Just found the exhaust online. Someone put a $550 manifold back 2 1/4" dual exhaust on it. Sounds like a Ferrari or something from 4k on up...  Im glad I bought the car, and not just the projectors. That was the orig reason for looking at it. I was going to rob the low beams for my 510.....
