The IIHS is now testing roof strength on all vehicles for the 2010 line up. Only Subaru won in all categories including the new "roof crush" test. Toyota won no top picks.

Even on the Today show the reporter was standing outside a Subaru dealership.

I did like how they keep saying it as: "Subaru only had 4 models that passed"

hmm... how many do they make.. haha

Umm,

Impreza, Legacy, Forester & Tribeca....

that's it isn't it? I know there is the Impreza WRX and Outback that are listed as alternate models, but they have the same frames as regular Impreza and Legacy so technically they are the same model. BTW, anyone else notice the 2010 "Outback" no longer says "Legacy" anywhere on it. Are they really that different now??

Yeah, the legacy wagon has been just the outback for a couple years now and Subaru as done away with the outback sedan for the same amount of time. The wagon is the Outback and the sedan is the Legacy....even though they are a lot alike.

Oh I see, they won in all 4 catagories that thier vehicles are marketed in. Essentially all cars manufactured by Subaru flat out kicked arse.

Good find.

My wife also found an article about how the The Insurance Safety Institute of Whatever gave top picks to All Subaru Models.
