Just for the fun of it, because I know asking a dealership will leave a mark..

Does anybody know of or can recomend somebody to replace the factory leather seatcovers with new leather in a totally unrelated to any type of subaru vehicle?

:rant:I have done my best to keep my Yota in great shape. The kids and in general wear on the seats have them hurtin' so I wish to explore the concept and cost of replacement...

Damm it... I want this vehicle to hit 200 at the very least.

Yup.

On Warren Avenue in Portland there's a shop called Auto Image.

Ask for Scott or Jeff, tell them Greg with the STi sent you.

They can do anything with leather, I designed my own complete interiors for my RX-8 and STi with their help.

The (brand was) Classic Soft Touch, with perforated black leather front seats, rear seats and door cards, it cost me about $1200, installed, and I did the headliners over, in black, as well, for about another $200 a car.

my friends father in auburn has an upolstry shop called leo's does very good work. i can get the number if you are interested?

If you can get a OEM seat cover, you can actuatlly do it yourself. The only special tools that upolstry guys have are a set of hog-ring pliers and maybe a flat round edge tool for pushing stuff into cracks. Of coarse, if you want custom that's a different story.

tyvm... I am going to take this, do some research and see what I can do to help my abused leather seats... amazing what a car seat, some fast food and a couple of "cute little girls" can do to the interior of a car...
