Anybody use KDE4?

Anyone use KDE4? what do you think about it vs KDE3.5?

I think the last one I used was KE3, maybe 3.5 though.

Not used 4.

And it was bundled with Kubuntu, so I'm not sure about installation. I do know that it was not usable without drivers (I had no internet access from that computer and never installed the nvidia stuff).

sorry, as a debian user it is my prerogative to not like *buntu...

It is kind of like the Norwegians and the Sweeds...

Last time I tried KDE was back when I was in highschool. It was a train wreck. I've heard good things about the new one. I stick with Gnome and just reorganize it so it's like a windows task bar anyway. I run xfce on my server when I need a GUI. Haven't used linux as a desktop OS since games suck, and the pulse audio (which supposedly has gotten better, but I don't really care) + flash experience are more trouble then their worth. I don't have time to dick with my computer anymore.

I use openbox on my computers. I just installed kde4 on a spare computer to play with. Looks like Windows 7...

And I don't just use openbox ... I use an extremely stripped openbox. I don't even have window decorations, borders, the top bar with the close, etc buttons...
