Anyone know of a place that repairs furniture?

Not, like antique restoration or anything like that, just fixing a couch. I got it a few years ago at Northern Matress (which is now closed, screwing me out of my warranty), and one of the beams in the frame broke, causing other problems with the frame and letting you sink about a foot when you sit.

I have an idea to attempt a half-assed fix that might buy me some more time, but if anyone knows anyplace that does this sort of stuff, I'm open to suggestions. I hate to buy a new couch to replace one that's only about 4yrs old, is in great shape other than this, and matches the rest of my hardly used LV set. Oh, and I don't really want to spend the $$ on a new one, either.

Flip it over and pull the staples out of the sheer sheeting that is underneath.

you should be able to see how to best fix it once you are in there. You can probably do it with a couple screws and a new piece of wood.

If its wood.. Not a problem, talk you right through it. Now.. if its metal its a whole different type of project....Yes i have a wood working shop
