Approx 80 new job comming this fall

The company I work for, Shaw's Supermarkets is hiring approx 80 new jobs. Full time and part time. They are at the warehouse in Wells Maine. 2nd shift in dry grocery and Frozen food and third shift Frozen Food. They will mostly include weekends into the work week. The job is picking groceries/order selection. We are bringing back a lot of work that was previously being out sourced to a third party company out of Mass/Vt.

$12hr. second shift diff is $.30hr and third shift is $.50hr. and freezer work is an additional $.30hr I have been at this company/ location for 20 years. The work is physical and repetitive but steady. You must apply online. Here is a copy and paste of my email.

You CANNOT apply at a store. Their applications are different than distribution and will not feed to my desktop.

The starting rate of pay is $12.00.

flat rate. you pick grocery case and are given a goal time to pick them. you are asked to meet the goal time once the training/ probation period is over. Then there is a incentive for beating the goal time up to 135%. They can explain it in a little more detail. They do not cut your pay when you don't make the goal. It is averaged for a week of work. there is tho a process if you continually do not make the goal time for the week.
