ARP head studs. Yes or No?

Peicing together the final parts to my build... I'm trying to decide on head studs/bolts. I know plenty of users on NASIOC that have had no issues re-using the stock head bolts, but most say go ARP or go home. I've heard that the ARP studs require re-torquing after a certain number of miles... isn't that a bit of a hassle? Thanks.

ive never heard of retorquing them. never had to do it either. its an extra 150 of insurance, although your stock head bolts will work fine.

its really a good idea with the built motor. As of now you wont be running high boost or crazy power, but im sure someday you will, and then the head studs will become a necessity.

As of the retorquing, i just heard of it recently, but i know i didnt retorque mine. when we took the heads off they were deff still sealed in there real tight.

weren't studs for convenience?

and on inlines, or some crazy 8s, they got so hot, the bolts got stuck, and head is left sitting there on the block. Boxers do not go there.. bolts is one less piece to keep tight.

go bolts.
