now I have a nice big crack.

how much are the heated Impreza windscreens? :sad5:

I have a feeling that I am going to be :pottytrain2: on this one.

:tard:

Dunno if it would be worth it. $245 installed. right down the street from my office.

shiz.. I would need new velcro things for my Sleazy pass.

What? A putty knife and some 3M double-stick tape and you're good to go.
I would need the clear stuff. (so it doesn't bake itself off in the sun)

glass coverage is in my deductible... ehh..

eh, not worth processing a claim, IMHO. $250 one-time money is easier to forget about than any increase in premium you'd see. Spend & forget, son. Spend & forget.

(that's how I justified my engagement ring, btw)

was that a recent purchase?

I put money away for a while for that one.

Nah, got engaged in '05 (I think) and married in '07

I hope Stan Pollock is enjoying the 60" plasma I bought him.

put money away for that, mine cost less than that deductible! sorry I'm one of those "2 grand + for a ring is just plan ridiculous" chicks. besides at that price I'd have to take it off everytime I dicked around on my car, ie I'd never be wearing it :headbang:

$2G's for a ring... that's on the low end...
no sarcasm here

are you serious? :dontknow: did you guys really spend that kind of money on an engagement ring?

depends on what you want. Mrs. Pedro wears gloves all day, so it needed to not rip them to shreds.

Mrs. O'B was a high school teacher at the time, and doesn't like those big blingy diamond-all-sticking-up things. I went for quality instead. $3k later, she now has an heirloom-quality engagement ring. GM Pollack "Hearts on Fire." Had to get the matching wedding band, too - else it would look retarded.

I may be a fool in others' eyes for spending that kind of money, but my dad didn't have a pot to piss in when he and my mom got married. My mom wouldn't have wanted (or would say she didn't want) a ring anyway. I wanted to get her something nice enough to be passed down, because my family doesn't have anything like that.

Besides - I'm nuts about her. I'd buy her another one today

OMG. I keep telling Al I'm cheap, buy me car stuff and I be happy! I'm a practical Mainer I guess, tho he could buy me a new Evo and I'd be happy :headbang:

Pedro, get the windscreen fixed?

kathy your the exception not the rule. i mean your a hard core gear head your not afriad to get your hands dirty, and can outdrive probaly any of us on any given day. of course you'd want a key ring over a dimond ring! haha

aside from that i have nothing else to add, i've never had to ponder wedding stuff ever, most girls get sick of me WAY before that hahaha
