Badge less Grill

Ok I have always really liked the badge less grill look. but I haven't really seen anyone do it on a GC era impreza. So I was wondering what everyone thought of it, maybe someone knows of a how-to or maybe even tips?

Basically I want this look for my car:

yea, see the problem is the original gc emblem is molded into the grill, you could cut out the old plastic mesh and do the chicken wire mod to it to get that look.

 
if your looking to spend money on a grill go with the version 6 grill. I know it has a badge and everything but it looks very very good! take a look at it before you throw down $130 bones

Yeah that was an idea I was considering, I was just seeing if anyone had better ideas. I dont know, I am going to have to look at my grill closer to see if I want to risk messing it up

Id have to double check but im pretty sure that's what I have now.

 
I do already have a custom badge... I just have always liked the emptiness of badge less grilles.

If I do try and custom fab one I dont want to cut up my current grill. so I will be looking for a cheap or maybe a donated grille

I have a badgeless grill that's beat to raisin, you're more than welcome to take it off my hands. otherwise just hit a salvage yard im sure they have grills.

what "custom" badge do you have? it might be worth something
