Tryin to bake my headlights and pry em open. any thoughts on temperature, cook time, and sealant used to reseal would be awesome....Nate especially cause i know u already did it on ur 08. thanks for the help

I think I did 175 for about 10 mins, and worked them apart a little. If it needs a little more toss them back in.

Yeah the lower the heat the better (less chance of warping the lenses). The g35 had to be done at 225.

Be extremely careful doing this. Do NOT touch the inside of the lens with anything!
this^^^ and wear some gloves

I had one lower tab start to melt when my over turned back on (from the internal temp getting to low) so on the second headlight i pre-heated the oven to 210 and shut it off completly. this worked perfect just dont spend a lot of time with the door open.

If you touch the inside of the lens (as mine had dirt in it) you need to get a fog protectant coating. Like used on ice hockey masks and stuff like that.

I did this for the old 35 pound glass version...

as it turns out, it is the same for everything with paint...

never exceed 250-260F, and simply do not leave it at that for too long.
