bangor: loyale rear bumper

I do have an old post for this, but the server upgrade has it elsewhere..

won't hurt to post again.

I got hit and run last september, put brackets in true shape, but bumper is crullered slightly..need a loyale one. Rust is ok, will be modifying..and the cover to, the plastic does not need to be present. As long as it is straight...

1985-1993 loyale gl/dl rear bumper. there is only 1.2 million of these in america, someone got the rarity I seek?

cheaper the better, perhaps off a junked subaru. can pick up. can give you my old bumper, if you want to re fill the holes.

Loyales were made till 94. I might sell mine from my sedan, whatcha willing to spend?
I am not sure what to offer..if it is for your jacked up buggy. the bumper I have is all there functioning, nothing illegal. just uglied a bit, by a little bit. I am going for a true restore, want exacts for the "big" bumper hangng off the back..it is the first thing I notice, along with rear quarters.

slap that in and swap out yours with some cash?

up to you.

I really do not want a rear bumper inside the car to take home.

and hey. they stopped manufacture in 93..the 93s are 94s. Lets keep the age of steel right for us mig welders. My 93 had a new dealer purchase in late 94...could call it a 95 loyale...

this should be a spot for a crying emoticon but no..I laugh it off...

That's possible. I'll take a look at it to make sure it's all good. As far as I know, it's in great shape. I would really like to sell the whole car!!!

what is the car? I remember a jacked up sedan in photo, but did not figure it out. transmission?

I also forgot the sedans have a different rear bumper...wagons are solid due to no beam behind rear seat.

I do have one place to check local, a wagon, and I can get back to you. I can't go for the car, I can only have one...

my next is non-sube, unless special (like the 1986 xt I drooled over recently in cragislist) else it is back to v8 .. (most likely crown vic).

I must have sube as good as it will go first... wagon bumper needed.

Hmm, I thought the rear bumper was the same, but no biggie. The car is an 89 4WD GL sedan, with EA81 motor, 5 spd dual range tranny, and very little rust.

ea81.

I haven't heard an ea81 in over 10 years. Snappiest sube ever...

is that engine you sold me supposed to go in that?

I forgot where that engine came from, still sitting stored....

will be checking on bumper tomorrow. The sedan sounds unique...

I took an incredibly leaky and noisy EA82 out of this sedan and put the EA81 in. The EA82 that I sold you could go into it, if you bought it!! Oh, and the lift could be very easily removed as well.

Hmmm...

If I only had more spots for stuff. As of now, I have a dimsantled sube loyale gadgets in a basement, over a dozen wheels in a shed...an engine on a pallett..

I still cannot call it a bad habit.

Ashame you lost an ea82, the long term thoughts when under the hood are so very simple. I mean , I will be laughing for at least another decade...

I have to wait on the bumper, must have wagon. I do not want to have to weld a few five foot lines after smashing the heck out of it, but may do.

someone must have a wagon bumper! 9 years of them! all good!
