Blue smoke

Guy at work told me today when he saw me leave work the other day I blew alittle blue smoke.. When I leave I have to go uphill so I go into alittle boost. My motor has around 4200 miles on a brand new 2.0 shortblock and valve job.. Could this be my Turbo blowing by? There is 100k on the turbo.

Yeah, blue smoke is an indicator of burnt oil

Yeah I know that was just seeing if the turbo was a possible suspect

hard to pinpoint the exact part that's burning the oil but a 100k turbo sounds right

Either that or they fudged up on the valve stem seals

Eddie did you pull your IC off and see if you've got oil in the piping? I would check that first.

To see if it's ring related, pull the oil cap off and see if you're blowing any smoke out of there.
