Boost gauge install

So I got a new boost gauge and have a couple questions on installing it. It is an electronic boost gauge so it has a few wires. I'm wondering why it has a B+ wire, an ON wire that says, ON, the car power line that will not be disconnected at start of the engine, and then an ACC wire too. So my biggest question is, what does the ON wire get hooked to? The B+ wire goes to the battery, the ACC goes to switched power, so what does ON go to?

Ok so I got it all installed but, if I have the ACC wire and the ON wire hooked to switched power, then the back light goes out after the gauge starts reading. So what the hell do I have hooked up wrong?!?! I hate car wiring!!

Is there a setting on the gauge to control the back light?

And about the constant power and the switched power. On the baja there is a red wire on the ignition harness that's constant 12v. And a yellow wire that is ACC, goes on and off wit the car. (if i remember correctly from when I was putting a remote start in someone's baja). I bet you could find the diagram for your car.

Maddad Clarity ultra. I did get it working, but have no idea why it didn't work initially. But it works now, but the dimmer wire does nothing, it stays the same whether I dim the dash lights or not, and yes, it is hooked to a dimmer wire.

Your gauge should dim when you turn your lights on I believe. When you turn your headlights on does it dim at all??

No it doesn't and it should, but I really could care less, cause I keep my lights on all the time, because it's a Subaru!!
