boost issue

So I was driving tonight and had to make a stop. I let it run for a couple minutes and when I got back in and drove off, I had no boost at all. It won't go above 0 on the boost gauge and I can't hear the turbo spooling or anything. It drives fine, just no power. It will rev in neutral just fine as well, but it's like the turbo is just off. Any ideas?

strange.... what happens when you blip the gas? Like when it is at idle. You pop the gas pedal real quick. Does it come back down smooth or just it almost sputter out?

I would check all the piping and the vac lines.

It's all smooth. The only difference is the turbo makes no noise, and I read no positive pressure on the boost gauge. I checked everything I could see and everything appears fine.

I would check your vacuum lines and check for boost leaks at your inlet, intercooler hoses, and throttle body.

I did that already and found nothing wrong. everything is tight, connected and no holes/tears. And even so, I would think I would hear the turbo spool. It makes no noise.

well if there isn't any manifold pressure and no boost leaks....perhaps the wastgate is stuck open? i'm not sure what turbo is on your fozzy, but the spring tension on the wastegate is usually enough to create up to 7-10lbs, at least for the vf52 on the newer wrx's.

maybe the shaft is seized? just throwing out some ideas.

I did check that too, it's all good. I was told it might be the BPV stuck open. So I'm gonna try that tomorrow

you ain't going to get anything done sitting on the computer so get rollin you fool
