Brian Welch Spotted on Religious TV

My step daughter was flipping through the channels and spotteds this long haired, skinny tatoo'd freak on one of the religious channels the other day. She called me over to take a look at this freak and how weird looking he was....

I looked at him and determined it was none other than Brain Welch AKA Hed from Korn who has since retired from the band. I never really understood his motivation for leaving Korn after watching him for ten minutes it is much clearer that it was a life/family saving manuever; He had become a isolated and useless meth-head: with the $$$ he has death was becoming the only solution for him..

Just thought I would share that! I know he has written a couple books and has his own personal music project going; if U listen to it U can hear just how incredibly influential he was to korns earlier writing style.. I never totally understood Y he left korn other than the discovering his deepseeded and unknown dedication....

Dude looks a lot healthier now too...

This along with some of the other stuff going on around me I feel like I need a bell taped to my forehead. I have had the most incredible week of learning about myself and the people around me...I can not remember such a short period of time where I had this happen.

I used to love korn! not so much after follow the leader, but it was still a big shocker to hear that he had left the band....and even more of a shocker that korn has actually continued on without him. I think his decision to leave the band was a very good decision for him and his daughter.
