Lookin for a place to get breakfast I intentionally drove by with hi RPM, no gas and mid-pipe cut off valve open.... I was blappin' back pressure very loudly...any of U EG's hear it? If not I can come do it again and emphasize it a little more...

U know something maniac... there is one way to really solve this, take U for a ride someday soon.

ps; Actually it opens electronically but the operation of the switch is manual...what M/A said...

Sam usually puts them in the middle somewhere near the center diff controls. Since I have a plethora of dumb friends and children in my car I wanted it in a spot that was more hidden... something just for me, kind of like the wife...hahaha

The best was the one time I got pulled over for being to noisy. By the time the cop caught up and had me pulled over the valve had been moved to the closed position... After five minutes of denial and the fact the my car was much quiter he had to get off my **** and let me go.... ah magical button of silence...

I am not 100% sure what it adds to the performance, it must b something as it kills some of the back end restriction; the rest of my car had the noose taken off its "air flow" neck so Y not open its poopah.... I can tell U what it is a fun sound to hear inside the car and makes a lot of heads turn on the street when it is open. I just love the snap krackle and pop of subaru rice krispies thorugh the exhaust.

although not the most power enhancing I would recomend this mod as it adds to the fun factor a ton... I hear a rumor that M/A can do this mod for U ....

I think lostinmaine got a taste of the open pipe but I am not 100% sure... we were dealing with precipitation while out in the car.

ps: has anyone tried that little place in the same parking lot as We-Lei and the bicycle shop? They got some neato funky stuff there but are a lil' pricey.
