Caliper Painting

I'm going to paint the brake calipers on my WRX. I bought a RED kit from VIP. I am wondering whether to paint the brackets red also, or maybe black?? Opinions?

hey, does this help them in any way?

that is a chore I have never ever done.. the sube however has responded to other strange chores (ie: I painted exhaust by accident and the coil got stronger)

even painting the tunnel changed the sube..

why am I asking, I should just do it.

^^^ I would say its for looks only man. Just to keep them from looking rusty that's all.

You'll add MAD stopping power IF you put stickers on the calipers.

Painting the calipers makes the brake fluid turn bright green. This has the effect that if you step on the brakes to hard you'll actually start going backwards. It's weird.

lol.......make sure you clean them really well before you paint...paint no stick to brake dust and debris!!!!!
