Basically, you can't be fined for running them unless you're seen by a police officer...

Just a good thing to know... we've all had those questionable run-ins that end up sucking when they shouldn't have been an issue. O0

honestly, i wish it would have passed. It irritates me so much to see people just blatantly running red lights. I can't tell you how many times i've almost been hit turning off my street onto broadway because people fail to stop for the traffic light. Yes, i've had my few runs thru questionable yellows but when the other direction's light is already green and people are still blowing thru the light... c'mon.

I agree completely, but it's comforting to know you don't have to slam on your brakes and risk getting rear ended just becuase of a dumb little camera.

They are probably going to use them similarly to the cameras at tolls. They're not out to screw everyone that runs a light, cause we all make mistakes. But they can easily catch habitual offenders.

don't do that in NH. you will get a bill for the $0.75 toll as well as $25.00 for the processing fee. Maine just asks for the tolls. (at least the last time my EZpass wasn't registered to my plate number :

)
