can someone change a slave cylinder?? $$

hey i have a 2000 saturn L series that needs a new slave cylinder. It is conveniently located inside the transmission. so i need someone who can split a tranny and swap that slave cylinder for cheap. well cheaper than a shop but ill still pay cash for it. let me know thanks

I dont have the capability at home. I recommend calling around local to you and finding someone you are comfortable with, your guy, and have them do it. Everyone needs a mechanic they can rely on.

Avoid the chain stores. Find an independent. The job itself isn't complicated, just time consuming.

 
A mechanic he can rely on... You're not reliable? I think you just shot yourself in the foot.

 
No I'm not reliable, until I open my own Scooby Haus.

ur best bet to replace that Slattern slave cyl is to get yourself a new cyl with a WRX wrapped around it

Ya darn tootin! Subaru= fun and reliable, everything else= sub par.
 
yeah, i appreciate the help. i was hoping someone would say, yeah ill do that for 200 bucks, bring it over this weekend, but my luck isn't that good (clearly, im driving a saturn right? haha) i was hoping to fix that and sell it and get an 02 rex sedan. wish me luckkkk
