can't wait to check that out!

so did anybody see it last night? it was pretty crazy i'll admit, but not as spectacular as last years stunt imo

yeah i watched it, it was not quite as cool as i thought, but still 274 feet is darn impressive

I saw the jump, but nothing else. We paused The Two Towers at 11:55 and watched until 12:05ish.

It was kind of, meh, I guess. I can't believe that they didn't think of the landing ramp icing over...

ice?

I was surprised they were running gravel tires for the jump. all but guaranteed a crash at the end of the barge.

He said after he jumped on ESPN that he wasn't expecting the ice to be there when he landed, and that the brakes wouldn't work, and that the only way to stop safely was to hand-brake turn so the passenger side would take the blow hitting the concrete barrier.

Where in California was it?

he said that he didn't expect it to be slick. I didn't hear him say anything about ice.
