Car got egged...paint is damaged...owner not happy

So some retards thought egging all of the "nicer" cars in my neighborhood would be fun last night.My WRX got nailed on the hood and windshield,the Portland Pirate that lives next door got the driver's side of his black Dodge Ram covered,and the kid upstairs had his front tires flattened (I think they just let the air out).There may be more,along with the mailboxes(big deal).

I wouldn't be AS mad if it all washed off,but part of the egg ate right into my hood and now there is a mark there.

WTF can you do in this situation besides sleep in your car with a baseball bat or put a camera in there??? The guy with the tires said he saw a bunch of kids in an Explorer parked in the parking lot when he got home.Looked like they were smoking a bowl or something.They don't live there,and I've seen kids parked out there before at night doing raisin.The complex is actually private property according to the police.I guess if I see anyone out there again,I could call them.I hope it doesn't happen again,or worse,I catch them doing it. >

That just plain sucks, and I have no answer.. I have to park on the street, and its part of the flight path to and from the bar, so all summer long I have 21 year old drunks walking past the car. I am always in fear of a keying or some thing like that. I was thinking of getting a camera and mounting it on the wall of my apartment looking down toward the car.... but the cost and what not...

well if you find out it was the explorer and you see it again, you could always throw a brick through the rear window. from the myterious darkness of some bushes or something.

 
screwing with someones car is the most chicken raisin thing to do.... I would pity the family of the person I catch messing with my car...
