Car safety after 50 years.

Saw that on the news last night. That old car got owned by the new one. Technology and engineering 50 years, Priceless.

I saw that on the ls1 forum yesterday. Did you see the SmartCar crash tests? Its like drop-kicking a matchbox car.

this tape has been out there for a while, it's even been posted on MS before

still, it's an eye-opener and its message ought to quieten the talk on here about how the old Scoobs are much more crash-resistant than the current ones.

I rented a late model Impala recently, and despite the stereotypical GM mouse-fur interior and lame dash lights, it rode and drove remarkably well. even got to slide it around enough on some FLA dirt roads so the g/f was yelling "cut the crap, we did not get the loss waiver and this is NOT a rally car!!"
