Catless...power?

As I said in my thread about the wagon, I plan to either build or have someone else build a set of uel headers. Due how the 07 is setup,I don't know if I can incorporate a replacement for the front cat. Basically wondering where I would see gains and losses since I use my car towing ( trailer, stuck cars, occaisional trees)

I think youd see mabey better throttle response, and a little more grunt higher in the rpm range.

I don't think you'll see any difference. The headers on my OBS had no cat, and I didnt feel any change.

Ooh now that I think about it the cats on n/a's can flow more gas than the heads can? So really any change to the exhaust really wouldent alter performance all that much

I wouldn't say that's true. But between small pipe size and the muffler, I highly doubt the cats are a considerable restriction.

Its really splitting hairs. if cats ok why bother? If suspicicous try without. (marginal noise and power gains at best) not that I would know.

Boxer rumble envy? That's all you'll gain more than likely. That is unless you tune it and do other stuff. That alone more than likely will not give you any noticeable gains.
