center differential

Looking for the center differential for an 03 wrx 5 speed. I've read that maybe one out of a certain year legacy would work, any ideas on what years?

I think the center diff on those was 1:1.1 so you need a wrx center and can't use whatever you want. Mikey knows 100%

I believe the center diff on all 5 MT from MY99 to 2007 are the same. My son's 2002 Legacy's center diff was toast and we put a good used one from a 2000 Impreza 5MT

center diff comes off with the back of the transmission, you can do it without pulling the trans. ive got a guys trans here that exploded 2nd gear but his ctr is still fine. i forget his user name but i told him you were looking for a good ctr diff.
