This is what I had to start with...

I started off just using a sand blaster. The clear coating that Subaru used was taking a VERY long time to come off so I picked up some aircraft paint remover. The paint remover worked great on the clear but not so hot on the gray paint in between the spokes.

After a few more hours of sanding by hand and sandblasting the rest of the corrosion and wire brushing the backs of the rims, they look liked this..

Then the paint!!! i used the graphite duplicolor wheel coating .

Hey man! What a difference. My girlfriend is having trouble with the corrosion on her jeep liberty rims. They are looking rough (Maine winters). If you want some extra cash to do some work on a set of four let me know. -Perkins

x2 color! Snazzy.

Now go take a shower. I know all that blasting and sanding by hand got you lots of grit in your ears, pockets, butt crack, ect

That aircraft stuff takes a few times to work... You should have taken that stuff I had! It would eat your hands off!
