I was wondering if the gasket that came with this DP is going to replace the donut-gasket that's in the cat back?

Yeah the welds on them are really good.I was wondering if in the near future i would be able to have a AFR Bung welded into it .Wonder if having a Divorced wast-gate would stop me from getting one

Divorsed wastegate wont stop you from getting a bung welded in. It should be welded into the downpipe midway down the drop section anyway. Putting it in the bellmought area is WAY to close to the turbo. Actually before you intall the pipe you should really have one welded in. pulling it again after to weld in a bung would suck. welding it in while its off the car is the way to go.

now go get yourself a walbro fuel pump installed and buy a stage 2 map.

Interesting... my bung on my ERZ DP is drilled right on top of the bellmouth. Hopefully this isn't an issue for a wideband gauge setup.

a lot of them are like that but its funny cause its not a great place for it. Wayyyyy to close to the turbo.

Yah my downpipe has one welded into the bellmouth right there too. I slapped on a aluminum gasket and put a plug in the top one. Its there, but ill never use it.

I welded another one in down the pipe where its supposed to be. About midway down the "drop" section of the pipe, and ****ed off to about 3 o'clock. This is a good spot on the 08-09 cars cause there is an open spot near the tiny 5 speed tranny case. Haha.

Is it in your car already?

If so, sad to say but it might be best to remove the DP when your ready and weld in a bung. Its a little more work, and the cost of some new gaskets.

You might find someone able to do it on the car but its not really the best way. There is no way they are getting it in the spot it "should" be while its on the car. You would end up having to put it down too low.
