Contacts

After wearing glasses since the early 1990s I finally got contact lenses. I got some bitchin sunglasses. Now wheres the sun?!?!??? No sun in the last 11 hundred days.

So, I've been wearing my sunglasses at home, post w4orin, doing laundry, watching TV, eating supper. My wife is ready to smack them off my face. ;D

Be careful with them right now. I've had contacts for 15yrs, and never had a problem until this year. The air's just been so dry this year, that I've had a hard time keeping them in for long.

you know when you've been wearing a pair of contacts for way longer than you should because they're the last ones and you need a new appointment just to refill the prescription and get new ones so you say, "what's the worst that could happen?". apparently the answer to that is scratching on your cornea. my eyes had the same effect as a vigorous wet sand. for the next two months i had to wear glasses while my eyes healed not because they hurt but because i was basically looking through a scratched up surface that blurred everything.

lesson learned, pay attention to the lifespan of your contacts.

When I wore contacts they were over 50% water. Going on year eight after lasik and don't miss them at all.

Contacts FTW. Wearing the same pair for 3 months FTL. Need to get more, they are beat... As mentioned, definetly be careful how long you keep them in. I try to take them out if I am chillin at home, throw the glasses on and look smart...

I can't take long road trips (summer OR winter) with contacts in. Long here = 2 hours plus.

My eyes dry out in the car something fierce.

Cooper Vision here. I wanted laser treatment but the eye doc didnt think it was necessary. I hate glasses so I got contacts. I usually put in a new pair every 20 days or so. I've fallen asleep with them in before, for like 15 minutes and they dry right up, I hate that. The last ones I had that were approved for wearing 24 hours straight were the same thing. These new ones are much softer.
