so, some are aware that I can't get it inspected in NH because of two readiness monitors being on, NOT a CEL. Inski did some work to it to no avail, but suggested I remove the piggy back to see if that has become an issue. Al removed said piggy back,

result:

readiness monitors cleared, but she threw a solid catalyst CEL (P0420 Catalyst efficiency below threshold Bank 1) and a (P0107 MAP/BARO circuit lot input) grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

stupid state of NH

 
For the second O2, can't you put in a new, longer bung? I remember reading that to get around poor catalytic readings, you just back out the O2 sensor so it doesn't measure as much CFM/PPI/PPM/whatever.

 
That sucks. But now there is a starting point. The subaru select monitor can read and see if the MAP is working, and most likely the cat is done(do the resistor mod or taller bung mod). Or register it in Maine, non-cumberland county.

Does putting smaller brakes on the STi mean the RS days for you are nearing an end?

the cat is non stock Random Tech high flow and is close to 100k old.

nope, just wanna run smaller (read less expensive tires) Well Al might want to throw gravels on it, but I now have a trailer and 2 RS's to rallyx, so I am set!

 
I'm entering your realm of frustration. I just changed cats on the Fozzy because of the p0420, gambling on a used Random cat. No 420 yet, crossing fingers. The cat wasn't rattling when I bought it but it is now. But it sure does sound awesome.
