Crash in front of my house

This happened about 7 am while i was browsing the forum. Women drifted off into the ditch (3ft deep) Slammed into my driveway. Cleared it while flipping over killing the mailbox and a picnic table on the other side. No one was seriously hurt.

That ditch actually after she flipped kept the roof from collapsing. Good thing you wern`t out there in your skivies getting the morning paper or a brown spot accident may have happened.

Ya. I fixed it in ten minutes as not 1 piece of wood was broken. Just the screws pulled. That reminds me I had to pull some glass out of feet after running out and helping the people out of the car in my shorts a T-shirt. Broken glass everywhere and bare feet. There was a little girl in the back seat 6-10 years old had her seat belt on had only small cuts from the glass. Mother had NO deat belt on was unconsiuos laying on the ceiling of the car Her daughter climb out and she came to and climbed out. Was a little scary at first seeing the girl feet and hands dangling by her seatbelt. I could not see her but she was talking to me before she unbuckled and climbed out.

 
you know in my line of work this stuff never ceases to amaze me. you have a mother and child (mother unbelted mind you) flip a car onto the roof and walk away basically unharmed. yet we have accidents with way less damage, and WAY less mechanism of injury, and the people end up dead.

just glad everyone is ok. new cars can be bought.

 
With the mental anquish you feel over the loss of the beloved picnic table you can up grade to one of those fancy four sided ones once their insurance company settles.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH... how about one of those highspeeed octagonal picnic tables....little hole in the middle for an umbrella.. that way it can B like eating at a UFC event...

U think her auto insurance will cover the pain and sudffering UR picnic table went through? That looked pretty traumatic..

did the woman get a ticket for failure to wear a safety belt? maybe someone should take her out on ice skates and show her exactly how hard body on body impact can B on someone especially with such a weight differential.... a soccer field will work just as well! She very easily could have done significant damage to her own child with a stray elbow, knee or even headbutt...

I may drive like a retard sometimes but I am at the very least securely fastened to my seat. I had the fortune of attending college on a soccer scholarship and know exactly how damaging body on body impact can B... just ask my neck, knees and a hip they it remind me everyday of the insult I caused them.
