Hi,

I'm Scott From Connecticut. I'm looking to move north so I figured why not Maine. I need a job in the HVAC trade and a cheap place to stay in the Portland area,if anyone could hook it up it would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck with the job search up here... Employment is a little thinner up here due to demographics but the cost of living is sooooo much friendlier than where UR coming from.

Cost of living vs. what U get up here is one of the Maine (hahaha) reasons I moved uphere. Once U get settled U will find U love it here...

Just don't move as far out as I did... the most popular song in the area's jukeboxxes and the ice cream trucks all play the theme from Deliverance....

we also got a great group of people here, wonderful advice and a sense of community but they will pick On u if Ur like me and only take UR sewbie on pavement...

 
Unfortunately in order to move to maine it will require you swaping trunks with me. Yea yea I know its a pain but its a small price to pay to get into "vacationland"

Lol! ya the shaved trunk w the limited lip is one of my fav mods. looks good w the roof vane.

I dont have much work done to her. 3 defis, spt intake and front strut brace. Blitz nur spec-r cat back, Trunk and headlight mod, and the flappers. also have a meghan dp waiting to go on.

welcome to Maine, yeah don't live as far north and Deeni and I (stay along the highway), i go to Portland every chance i get its nice city and the cost of living for Maine is high, but compaired to CT it would be dirt cheap. Have a fun drive and hope to see you at the meets

 
Whoohoo! another CT native coming up. I am originally from Waterbury, but went to school at Uconn for four years. Now i am living in York. You will like maine, lots of nice people, cheap COL and a TON of subies. GL with the search and awesome car!
