Which dealership was this? If it was Clair VW,I know they've had lots of stolen parts,but the only place I've ever had a guard come by me was Bill Dodge BMW.That was a long time ago,though.

There are some real morons working for FPS.You are totally minding your business,and they rush right over and get behind you or stop you.That's BS.They don't need to pull crap like that.I would complain to the dealership about how they treated you.Doing the Sunday window shopping run is a car guy's ritual!! That's why we do it on SUNDAY!!!!

I had one drive right over to me while I was visiting my grandparents at the cemetary! It wasn't even dark yet,but he pulls right up behind me and asks what I'm doing.........umm,let's see.....I'm filling a pail with water and walking over to water some flowers......am I about to commit a crime??? That really bothered me,because I'm feeling all sentimental and this douche comes and bothers me for no reason.He said "I'll give you a couple more minutes but we like to have everyone out by dark.".....Gee,thanks! That's probably why there aren't any lights in here,right??

I will be talking with dealership people. I don't want to say what the dealer was, since it is not their fault the guy was a douche.

the reason they are being so pushy at the dealerships on sundays is cause the price of cat.'s are up and it only takes a minute with a cordless saws all to chop one off with a suv or high setting vehicle.some of the dealerships have already been hit with this and are not going to let it happen again.since the price increase the junkyard i work at has already been hit 3 times so now we have cameras everywhere.all cause of fu.. thieves

 
raisin on a Subaru you jsut need a couple of sockets an in 2 shits the exhuast is dropped. Just don't lay in the raisin. (don't ask i don't know)

I'll just rip out the wires to an o2 sensor and put those in your hand and say that I surprised you while you were tyring to steal a cat! lol

That may be you, but the most force this guy could have unleashed would have been a giant can of hissy fit. Empty duty belt, well I guess he could have thrown his cell phone at me or something.

but damn... I worked security for a number of years as well. You don't run up to someone's car if you are unarmed and "think" they are up to no good. It is a good way to get your face blown off.

 
So, the lesson here is to just go during day light hours and a salesman will let you drive whatever you want. Tell them Chris sent you. ;D

BTW, The New 08 Outbacks are in! Slight facia change, slight front sheet metal change, a ton quieter, fugly colors right now. Hopefully the color pallet will improve soon.
