the holes might go all the way through the hatch. i have to check on that today...

How much do you wanna spend? If you don't mind have a body shop do it if your like me , tape the holes on the inside and put a little putty to it smooth it up good and get a small bit of paint and wollah!

The holes go all the way thru. My son just put a dab of silicone on the holes (then aimlessly smeared everywhere). Eventually, I'll weld up the holes once we take the plunge to repaint like Nailman did with his sedan debadge. Until then we're leaving the holes as is. You cant see them unless you're looking very close. We might put touch up paint on top of the holes to further disguise them.

debadge Notice the clean sleek look.
